Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for MSK Special Procedures & Neuro Interventional Radiology Advanced Modality Technologist. Will operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in a fast-paced MSK and Neuro IR environment, with on-call rotation and 4 ten-hour days per week.

Requires Associate degree or higher and ARRT, with preferred experience in IR, Special Procedures, Cath Lab or Neuro IR. On-the-job training provided for strong procedural imaging backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• Experience in Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or Neuro IR preferred.
• Experience with fluoroscopy, sterile technique, and image-guided procedures.
• Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Operates fluoroscopy and imaging equipment; image-guided and minimally invasive procedures.
• Support MSK and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures; participate in on-call coverage for emergent Neuro IR cases.

Position Details

Day Shift: 4 days per Week @ 10 hours shifts - Monday - Friday (7:30am-6pm)Extra Pay Call Rotation (Paid even if not called in!!!):

• Weeknight call (Monday to Thursday): 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM & Weekend call (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)Participate in on-call coverage for emergent Neuro IR cases

Support both Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Neuro Interventional Radiology proceduresOperate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment, prepare and maintain sterile procedure fields, image-guided procedures, minimally invasive proceduresAbility to work in a fast-paced procedural environment & participate in call and respond to emergent casesStroke intervention, neurovascular procedures, kyphoplasty, ablations, biopsies, and injectionsOn-the-job training will be provided for candidates with strong procedural imaging backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

Role PurposePerforms diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
