Barnes-Jewish Hospital is hiring a Full-Time OR X-Ray Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital - Main Floor Plaza West Tower- General Radiology in St. Louis, MO. New grads and experienced radiologic technologists are encouraged to apply.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available and cross-training is provided with no prior experience required. Day shift is 3 days per week (Wed–Fri, 7:00 am–7:30 pm) with no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiography or related field.
• Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)).
• No experience required; cross training provided; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
