Job Details

Pay Range: $42.00/hr - $56.00/hr (Provided by UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial; actual pay based on skills and experience)

Location: Onsite in the greater Chicagoland area

Position: Radiology Technician Special Procedures in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab departments

Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), All shifts with on-call requirement, Days (Full-Time and Registry)

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic films, assist with fluoroscopy, and support radiology students
  • Prepare charge slips and maintain records
  • Ensure safety and quality control in imaging procedures
  • Assist radiologists in IR procedures and prepare surgical trays
  • Gather patient history and explain procedures
Qualifications
  • Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Certified by ARRT and active BLS certification
  • Active Radiography accreditation with Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety
Preferred Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Interventional Radiology equipment
  • Ability to work under pressure and react quickly
