Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist in the Diagnostic Radiology South department in Springfield, MO. You will independently perform radiology procedures under a physician’s supervision, following established protocols to produce optimum images while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort.

Education requirements include ARRT-accredited program completion; an Associate degree is preferred. 1–2 years related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or related field.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with computers and radiology equipment.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.

Education
