Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a radiology student/graduate to perform radiology procedures under supervision, following established positioning and safety standards. You will help ensure patient comfort while producing high-quality images and maintain documentation.

Applicants must be a senior student or graduate of a CoxHealth-affiliated radiologic technology program, with no prior experience required and ARRT registry within 6 months of graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be a senior student or graduate from a CoxHealth affiliated School/College of Radiologic Technology with successful completion of academic and clinical requirements of a first year student in the program.
• No prior experience required.
• Must pass ARRT registry exam within 6 months of Radiology School graduation.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform radiology procedures using established positioning and protocols.
• Maintain patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort while producing optimum images.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines and ensure image quality.
• Assist in patient support and documentation as required.

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of a physician and/or registered radiologic technologists performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.

Education

• Required: Senior student in or Graduate of a CoxHealth affiliated School/College of Radiologic Technology with successful completion of academic and clinical requirements of a first year student in the program

Experience

• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.

Licensure/Certification/Registration
