Job summary

Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington is seeking a 1.0 FTE Radiology Technologist in Federal Way, WA to perform radiographic and specialty imaging and ensure patient safety. The role includes operating radiology equipment, patient education, and maintaining quality standards, with a focus on confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited radiologic technology program, Washington state certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program by time of hire.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images following protocols.
• Position patient to best demonstrate the area of interest with comfort in mind.
• Obtain images using proper radiographic techniques and identify records.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Input patient data into the Radiology Information System accurately.
• Maintain equipment, PPE, and adhere to safety and infection control policies.
