Radiology Tech Responsibilities:
  • Perform digital X-ray studies safely, following provider orders, with proper patient positioning and radiation protection.
  • Set up and adjust supportive and immobilization equipment as needed, handling patients professionally and safely.
  • Document patient encounters accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Select appropriate technical factors to ensure patient and equipment safety.
  • Maintain clinical skills, collect specimens, run point-of-care tests, and travel to other facilities as needed.
  • Practice sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or repairs immediately.
  • Perform other duties such as ordering supplies, patient registration, scheduling, and performing scribing duties as needed.
Employment Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a 2-year/associate degree.

Licensing/Certification: Completion of an approved X-Ray Technician certification program and registration with the American Registry of Radiographic Technicians (ARRT).

Experience: One year of imaging and/or medical assisting experience preferred.
