Radiology Tech Responsibilities:

• Perform digital X-ray studies as ordered by providers, ensuring safety and proper patient positioning.
• Set up and adjust equipment and support devices, handling patients professionally and safely.
• Document patient encounters accurately in EMR.
• Select appropriate technical factors to safeguard patients and equipment.
• Maintain skills to meet operational needs, including collecting specimens and running point-of-care tests. Travel to other facilities may be required.
• Practice sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Assist with ordering supplies, patient registration, scheduling, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: 2-year/associate degree required.

Licensing/Certification: Completion of an approved X-Ray Technician program and registration with ARRT.

Experience: One year of imaging or medical assisting experience preferred.
