Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment, supporting trauma and OR cases while following department guidelines.

You will act as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team in a busy hospital setting. WA DOH and ARRT registrations, plus BLS, are required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from an Imaging program.
  • State registration with WA Department of Health for X-ray tech; transition to certified radiologic technologist within 3 months.
  • ARRT registration required; if registry is pending, complete within 6 months.
  • BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
  • Support trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic studies.
  • Ensure imaging exams follow established policies and clinical guidelines.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model within the care team.

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
  • May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
  • Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines

Requirements
  • Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
  • X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $37.29 - $61.64 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
