Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiologic procedures across ER trauma, fluoroscopy, portable and surgical settings under radiologists' direction. Requires ARRT certification, WA license, BLS, and accredited radiologic training.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic training program or equivalent education/experience.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Upon hire: American Heart Association BLS.
  • Upon hire: ARRT certification.
  • Upon hire: 6 months X-ray tech experience or completion of Imaging Clinical Rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of radiologic procedures including ER trauma, fluoroscopy, portable and surgical applications.
  • Work under the direction of Imaging Director or lead and radiologists.
  • Support department operations to ensure patient-centered care and safety.

Radiology Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic

Under the direction of the Imaging Director or lead and medical direction of the radiologists, performs all phases of radiologic procedures including Emergency Room trauma, fluoroscopy, portable and surgical application of ionizing radiation.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited radiologic training program or equivalent education/experience.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • 6 months X-ray tech experience or completion of PSMMC Imaging Clinical Rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
