Job summary

Providence is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor and Imaging Services Director, you will perform radiologic procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment, using standard imaging equipment and safety practices.

Required qualifications include graduation from an approved School of Radiology Technology, Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License required at hire.
• American Heart Association BLS required at hire.
• ARRT certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under supervision to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate imaging equipment following safety protocols and quality standards.

Under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor and the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, performs radiological procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries.

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree.
• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
