Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist is a critical part of our team of committed, self-motivated people who provide essential services to promote and maintain our service, care, and values.

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing imaging procedures according to Care Center or Ambulatory Surgery Center needs. They assist with patient care to meet outcomes and facility goals, performing duties within their scope of practice under Clinical Leadership guidance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of radiation equipment, including routine maintenance and care
  • Perform radiologic examinations following protocols
  • Operate radiologic and PACS equipment
  • Proper patient positioning
  • Calculate exposure factors and apply radiation protection principles
  • Caring for patient needs during examinations
  • Evaluate procedure room and imaging equipment for quality and store images per policy
  • Practice sterile techniques in Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
  • Maintain documentation in EMR or paper charts
  • Coordinate printing and copying images, pulling images for surgery
  • Calculate and regulate equipment using established techniques
  • Assist patients pre- and post-procedures
  • Assist with housekeeping to ensure a safe environment
  • Support other personnel as directed
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Follow all policies introduced during onboarding and outlined in the Associate Handbook
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current ARRT registration
  • Current WA State Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Minimum 3 years’ clinical radiology experience preferred
  • Successful completion of BCLS course within 90 days or current certification
