Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist for PRN shifts. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain patient safety and comfort.

Join a dedicated imaging team supporting physicians and patients in Brandon, FL. Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, following MEDITECH workflows, and collaborating with radiologists and care staff to deliver accurate results while prioritizing patient

Qualifications

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school.
Valid ARRT certification.
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

Take radiographs (x-rays) of patients to aid physicians in diagnoses and treatment.
Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images with proper markers and dating.
Select appropriate technical factors and assist with contrast administration when needed.
Position patients and prepare them for exams while maintaining modesty and safety.
Document clinical information prior to exams and complete MEDITECH fields accurately and on time.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and stock necessary supplies; support the radiologist and care team.
