ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements of this job:
Education/Formal Training: Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiology Technology Program. Passing registry exam of American Registry of Radiological Technologist.
Licensure/Certification:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Demonstrates an ability to position properly, properly shield patients, show proper use of all equipment and accessories, calculate and implement proper techniques, give patients well-understood instructions, understand and practice radiation safety for both patients and self, demonstrates excellent working knowledge of performing radiography exams on all age and health types. Demonstrates good working knowledge of all policies and procedures as related to CT and hospital-wide, understands and practices aseptic technique. Demonstrates skills appropriate to the performance of venipuncture and demonstrates good working knowledge of universal precautions and practices the same.
Position: Required flexibility in working different areas, different shifts, weekends and holidays, and in adverse weather conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Environment with regular exposure to ionizing radiation, as well as hazardous conditions including blood, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases.
