Job summary

FMOLHS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and produce radiographs to aid diagnosis. You will follow established imaging protocols and safety policies while operating imaging equipment.

You will provide pre- and post-education to patients and families, and work under supervision initially, developing to independent practice. Responsibilities include arranging patients for examinations, performing imaging, and reporting to the Supervisor or Manager.

Responsibilities

• Arranges patients for radiological examinations.
• Produces radiographs (x-rays) / images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
• Uses pre-established imaging protocols and departmental policy to operate imaging equipment safely and perform all job functions.
• Provides complete pre- and post-education to patients and family.
• Initially may require instruction and guidance to accomplish the job and should develop into performing work under general supervision.
• Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
