Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality, cost-efficient diagnostic procedures for patients and the department.
2. Provide radiology services in a timely manner, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
3. Organize workflow to prevent delays.
4. Assist physicians and medical staff during procedures as required.
5. Deliver excellent customer service accurately and efficiently.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
7. Attend required in-services, reviews, and educational programs.
8. Maintain knowledge of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in radiology.
9. Stay updated on changes in radiology practices.
10. Adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
11. Comply with applicable local, state, federal policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and statutes.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered or eligible for registration by ARRT.
• License as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT).
• Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
• Attend classes and continuing education to stay current in radiology.
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Serve patient populations across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
