The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Winter Park

• Winter Park Memorial Hospital has served the residents of Winter Park and surrounding communities for over 50 years.
• Chartered in 1951, it has grown into a 307-bed acute care facility with a focus on community health and wellness.
• The hospital has expanded to include obstetrics, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care, cancer care at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, and state-of-the-art surgery, recovery, and rehabilitation services.

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs radiographic imaging procedures, assists patients with positioning and movement, and performs clerical duties. Provides basic patient care within scope of practice, adhering to departmental standards and hospital compliance plans, and complies with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.

• Performs exams using established protocols, properly identifies patients, educates patients about procedures, and screens for contrast allergies.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors. Performs scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Screens patients of childbearing age, minimizes radiation exposure, practices infection control, uses PPE, and maintains a clean, organized work environment.
• Completes all required documentation for Radiologist support.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Associate degree or equivalent, with two years of related experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and completion of Radiologic Technology training.
• State license as required by applicable state regulations.
