Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for PRN day shifts to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and maintain safety standards. You will help ensure patient comfort and move/position equipment as required, while keeping rooms and tools clean and ready for use.

The role requires ARRT RT certification and BLS, with 1+ year of experience preferred, plus a HS diploma and higher education where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds.
• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.

• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility
