Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with safety and precision. You will establish relationships with patients and care teams, operate radiographic equipment, and ensure clean, well-stocked exam rooms while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requires ARRT radiography registration, BLS, and at least 1 year post-certification experience. Associate or Bachelor’s preferred, HS required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS required.
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R)) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• 1+ year post-certification radiology experience preferred
• Knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others.
• Move and manipulate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Perform direct patient care duties within technologist scope, monitor patient condition, transport patients, and observe infection control.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use; verify equipment safety checks.
• Notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low

Job Description:

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds.
• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma
• Previous Radiologic Technologist experience [Preferred]
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility
