Job summary

Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia is seeking an experienced Radiology Tech for a PRN, part-time role with rotating shifts, including nights as needed.

The position requires ARRT registration (or registry-eligible for recent graduates) and graduation from an AMA-Approved Radiographic Technology program. Prior hospital experience is preferred, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and growth.

Qualifications

• Registered ARRT certification or registry eligible if recent graduate.
• Graduate of AMA-Approved radiographic technology program.

Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist supervision, perform radiographic and CT procedures.
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform routine CT scans on diverse patient populations (pediatric to geriatric).
• Assist radiologist in biopsies, drain placements, injections, and markings.
• Perform angiography studies of brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats.

Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech to join their team in a PRN (various shifts) position. Must be available to work any shift, including nightshifts, when needed.

Position Summary

What you will do:

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
• Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered with ARRT (or registry eligible if a recent Radiology program graduate)
• Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred
