Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited imaging program preferred.
  • Licensed by the State of Indiana as a Radiology Technologist and certified as a Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
  • If not licensed and certified upon hire, must obtain within six months of hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
  • Ability to independently manage time and priorities.
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions.
  • Ability to use patient care skills to provide an exceptional experience.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique.
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for procedures and monitor during exams.
  • Perform radiologic exams with technical precision.
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
  • Educate patients and families on procedures and radiation safety.
  • Act as a patient advocate and ensure high-quality care for diverse populations.
  • Maintain patient safety and proficient use of department equipment.

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Cath Lab providing exceptional patient care. The Cath Lab specializes in coronary, peripheral vascular (PV), and electrophysiology (EP) procedures, offering a collaborative environment focused on advanced cardiovascular care. In this role, you will conduct thorough patient assessments and monitoring, while educating patients and their families on procedures and radiation safety. You will act as a patient advocate, ensuring high-quality care for a diverse patient population across all age groups and abilities. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, performing exams with technical precision, and evaluating images for quality. Proficiency in using department equipment and maintaining patient safety is essential.

Your Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited imaging program preferred
