Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams, document procedures, and ensure patient safety under licensed supervision. The role requires Indiana licensure and ARRT CT certification, with on-site work in a hospital imaging department.

The position offers a weekend option with a higher weekend premium, Saturday and Sunday shifts 6:30a–7p, and on-call duties every 13 weeks plus holiday rotation. A hiring bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have patient care experience and strong communication skills.
• Active licensure as Radiologic Technologist in Indiana and CT registry.
• Background in imaging protocols and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams as ordered for interpretation and procedures.
• Prepare and document medications and radiation exposure per policy.
• Document verbal, written, and electronic orders in the medical record.
• Operate department equipment and positioning devices accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient care.

Make A Difference

CT Technologists perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. CT Technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations and institutional policy.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring.


• Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patients' medical record.


• Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices.


• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.


• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.


• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.


• High School or GED required. Graduate of an accredited imaging program preferred


• Required: Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Current ARRT (R)(CT) registry. OR


• Required: Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Must obtain ARRT (R)(CT) within one year of hire
