Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist for Medical City Arlington in Texas. The role performs radiographic exams using standard and portable equipment, supporting physicians with timely image delivery and patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, producing X-rays, processing images, and coordinating with Radiologists. Requires ARRT registration, Texas MRT license, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. On-site shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-registered radiographer.
• State license as MRT in Texas.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Technologist operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• You will prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• You will develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• You will administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required
