Job summary

Conway Medical Center in Conway, SC is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality. The role requires ARRT-registered technologists and SCRQSA certification, with a preference for 2+ years of diagnostic radiology experience.

Primarily 1st shift days, full-time, with a $5,000 completion bonus available. BLS is required, and a strong emphasis is placed on customer service and precise technique in fluoroscopic and radiographic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a diagnostic radiology technologist preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• SCRQSA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and adjust exposure techniques.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them correctly.
• Process images for quality and documentation for interpretation.
• Maintain film quality and critique positioning and technical factors.
• Rotate through on-call schedule with other technologists.
