Responsibilities

• Operate portable and stationary x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety policies.
• Document KVp, mAS, and time for each exam in Cerner.
• Position patients and prepare exam rooms; ensure patient comfort.
• Transmit images to PACS immediately after exam.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and room stock; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians; verify patient identification.
