Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Part-time Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team. The role performs radiographic exams with diagnostic equipment under supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technology program; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Connecticut State Licensure.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); registry-eligible candidates must pass ARRT within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiographic examinations using diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while providing quality imaging and adhering to infection prevention practices.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associate's Degree preferred.
