Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform breast imaging, including mammography and ultrasound, and to support licensed practitioners in imaging while ensuring patient safety and high image quality.

You will obtain patient information, prepare exams, follow imaging protocols, and contribute to ALARA practices. The role includes education of students and healthcare staff and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program (required).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong focus on patient safety and image quality.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information and prepare patients for exams.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Prepare or administer medications as prescribed, evaluate images for quality.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Perform clinical breast examinations and image pathological specimens as directed.

Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles. Prepare or administer medications as prescribed, evaluate images for quality, and verify data storage and transfer. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers. Perform clinical breast examinations and image pathological specimens as directed. Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate organizational commitment.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program (required), with a preference for a related Bachelor's Degree. Proficient in routine and complex duties, with a focus on patient safety and technical expertise. Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to quality care are essential.
