Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time, weekend day shift. A $10K sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Hours are Saturday and Sunday, with 7am–5pm or 7am–7pm shifts and rotating weekend/weekday options.

The role involves conducting general diagnostic radiologic imaging studies, positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining supplies. ARRT (R) certification and BLS are required at time of hire.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT (R) certification required at time of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts general diagnostic radiologic imaging studies under physician supervision.
• Positions patients for correct anatomy/pathology demonstration.
• Operates radiation-producing equipment and radiology information systems.
• Prepares patient room/equipment/medications and maintains supplies.
• Explains procedures to patients and completes departmental documentation.
