Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Pain Clinic Scheduling, with Monday 7a–12p and Friday 1p–5p shifts. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, obtain patient data, and document contrast use, while adhering to ALARA principles and maintaining accuracy in RIS/PACS.

Applicants must have ARRT registration or registry eligibility, a MA radiography license, a two-year radiologic technology program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Two-year AMA-accredited radiologic technology program required.
• Registered by ARRT or registry eligible; MA license required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to image bodies for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain patient history/information for exams and document IV/oral contrast usage.
• Operate RIS with accuracy and label images with patient data and technologist initials.
• Ensure quality control using PACS and maintain image quality with minimal repeats.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• May work off-sites, and maintain annual licensure; participate in quality improvement.
