Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for the Outpatient Center at South County CAM in St. Louis, MO.

The role includes a 4-day day shift (nine-hour shifts, no weekends) and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include performing general radiographic procedures for adults and children, operating C-arm and portable X-ray equipment, and preparing patients with high customer service standards.

Position Details:

• Day Shift : 4 days per week @ 9 hour shifts: Mon – Wed (9:30am -7pm) & Friday (8:30am – 6pm)
• Outpatient Facility
• NO WEEKENDS, CALL or HOLIDAYS!!!
• Performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
• Operates C-arm & Portable X-ray machine

Experience:

Overview

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. The Center for Advanced Medicine - South County is a new outpatient facility, jointly owned by Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, that is under construction in South St. Louis County. The building, scheduled to open in late spring 2016, is located near the Siteman Cancer Center at I-55 and Butler Hill Rd. This new, two-story, approximately 84,500 square foot outpatient facility will include outpatient surgery, imaging, lab, therapy, and Washington University physician subspecialty offices including the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Surgery, and OB/GYN. ; ; The surgery suite includes two operating rooms and two minor procedure rooms. Imaging services will include plain film, CT, MRI, and screening mammography.
