Job summary

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is seeking a Radiology Technologist to deliver diagnostic imaging and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, a Florida RT license, ARRT certification, and current BLS. You will support specialized imaging for spine, hand, upper/lower extremities with emphasis on accuracy and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Assess patient needs and provide age-appropriate care throughout the imaging process.
• Verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Exercise professional judgment and maintain a patient-centered approach to care.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and all applicable state and federal regulations.
