Radiology Technologist - Ortho Sports Medicine Clinic FT Days

Description

Summary: The Radiology Technologist will perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and facilitate patient flow. Flexibility to work different shifts or campuses is required. The technologist must troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in QA, and resolve image processing and archiving issues. Ongoing education in safety and technical advances is expected. Adherence to imaging competencies and alignment with organizational values are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist radiologists and physicians to ensure physician satisfaction.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and only disclose information as necessary.
  • Adapt patient assessment and care to individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and standards.
  • Perform examinations to support patient throughput within scope.
  • Work flexible shifts and campuses as needed.
  • Ensure exams are correctly stored in PACS and follow downtime procedures.
  • Report equipment issues and perform follow-up actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Preferred: 1 year hospital experience.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Licenses/Certifications:
