Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited Radiology program or equivalent, credentialed by ARRT
• Two years of diagnostic radiology experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories; basic computer skills; ability to modify care based on patient age; good communication skills; ability to work independently in diagnostic rooms; adaptable to various situations and procedures
