Orlando Regional Medical Center is expanding its team of Rad Techs dedicated to meeting the imaging needs of our community. ORMC is a patient-focused hospital emphasizing teamwork and inclusiveness. We provide exceptional care by treating our patients like family, and our Rad techs strive to achieve the best image quality possible. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, you will quickly learn about all aspects of a comprehensive x-ray department. Our skilled rad techs operate multiple specialty equipment (O-ARM, CIOS, OMEGA, ZEIHM) to ensure all Centers and Institutes we support are served effectively and efficiently.

Position Summary

Orlando Regional Medical Center is adding to our team of Rad Techs dedicated to meeting all the imaging needs of our community. We emphasize patient care, teamwork, and inclusivity. Our Rad techs go above and beyond to ensure top image quality. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, you will gain extensive experience in various aspects of radiology. Our team operates advanced equipment (O-ARM, CIOS, OMEGA, ZEIHM) across multiple specialties.

Schedule

Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 pm to 5:30 am.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and physiology for interpretation and intervention.
  • Exercise professional judgment, maintain a caring demeanor, and deliver appropriate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and Orlando Health standards.
  • Assess patient conditions and provide instructions to ensure cooperation.
  • Properly identify patients, document clinical history, and position patients and equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring all relevant anatomy is demonstrated.
  • Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
  • Participate in Quality Control procedures and demonstrate proficiency in contrast administration.
  • Administer medical aid in adverse reactions or emergencies.
  • Supervise students and train new technologists.
  • Use all radiology computer systems effectively and ensure safety for all.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and comply with policies and standards.
Qualifications
Education/Training

Graduation or current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure/Certification
  • Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
