Job summary

Abrazo West Campus Hospital in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with independence, including on-call surgery cases and pain management responsibilities. You will work with advanced imaging technology to support diagnostic care.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, image quality, and collaboration with radiologists and cardiologists. Regulatory certification and CPR are required, with a minimum of six months of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills to understand instructions and explain procedures to patients and staff.
• Completion of a JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology with relevant certification requirements.
• Current ARRT and CRT certification, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiology procedures for patients of all ages and calibrates equipment as needed.
• Serves as patient advocate, explains procedures before testing begins.
• Processes billing/charging using computer systems.
• Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance patient care and reduce waste.
• Maintains inter- and intra-department communication with radiologists and cardiologists.
• Adjusts work schedule to departmental needs and follows policies and procedures.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
