Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; Licensed by MA DPH: Radiation Control Program in Radiography.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proficient in Radiologic equipment including C-arms/portable; training to competency if needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtains and documents patient information/history for exams.
• Documents use of IV/oral contrast in medical records.
• Operates RIS and ensures 100% accuracy in imaging labeling.
• Maintains image quality and quality control using PACS.
• Keeps repeat rate under 5% and applies ALARA principles.
• Contributes to team approach and supports off-site work as needed.
