***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide radiology services at the level of a Radiology Technician to maintain the health of employees and clients.
2. Assist and guide Radiographers during x-ray procedures.
3. Perform routine procedures on patients requiring specialized expertise.
4. Prepare radiological area, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies for procedures.
5. Assist Radiologists, Physicians, and allied health professionals in diagnostic or treatment procedures.
6. Conduct diagnostic testing on equipment and perform general maintenance.
7. Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
8. Develop radiographic films following photographic techniques.
9. Monitor patient and equipment conditions during procedures and report changes.
10. Perform diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound.
11. Document patient care services accurately in records.
12. Ensure proper patient positioning and equipment adjustments for radiological procedures.
13. Gain patient cooperation by explaining procedures and addressing anxieties.
14. Minimize radiation exposure through protective techniques and equipment.
15. Adhere to infection control policies and protocols, including drug reactions and emergency procedures.
16. Maintain quality standards in radiograph production and development.
17. Ensure radiology equipment is operational through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
18. Manage radiology supplies and inventory efficiently.
19. Maintain a safe and clean working environment following regulations.
20. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a Diploma, Certificate, or associate degree.
• At least two years of experience as a Radiology Technician.
• Experience with CT required.
• Valid license and current registration as a Radiological Technologist.
• CPR certification.
• Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and MS Office.
• Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Five years of clinical Radiology Technician experience.
• Three years performing CT procedures, including contrast exams.
• Experience with MRI procedures.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Bending, stooping, and lifting for patient care.
• Work involving portable and fluoroscopy exams as needed.
