Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is hiring a part-time Radiologic Technologist for night shift in Rochester, MN. Starting pay ranges from $34.01 to $51.01 per hour based on experience, with external candidates generally offered between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

The role requires ARRT licensure and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program. 0.5 FTE includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program required.
• Licensed by the ARRT and in good standing with CE's.
• HeartCode BLS (required).

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and review requisition.
• Record data into radiology information system.
• Assess patient condition and ensure safety with restraints/devices.
• Safely transport and transfer patients on/off equipment.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to care team.
• Identify anatomical orientation on images and ensure proper film ID.
• Coordinate exams to maintain care quality and workflow in supervisor's absence.
• Document patient information with computer systems to ensure care quality.
• Perform necessary computer operations for examination, documentation, and charges.
• Organize patient care and prioritize to implement clinician orders.
• Explain procedures to patients to facilitate cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Perform digital film management and transporter duties as required.
• Monitor inventory and notify shortages to supervisor.
• Maintain radiation safety awareness for self and others.
• Prepare and administer contrast media.
• Venipuncture with 95% accuracy and document/ deliver radiology reports.
• Follow ABC patient safety program
• Other duties as assigned.
