Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital – New Plaza West Tower (main level). Nightly shifts totaling 36 hours weekly, in-house patient care and OR exposure. A sign-on bonus may be offered for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include imaging procedures, on-call imaging, ED duty, and occasional OR participation, using Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream portables.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• RT(R) certification required.
• ARRT registration as radiologic technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures with high-level customer service and professionalism.
• Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, including on-call situations and portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
• Work independently in the emergency room when needed and occasionally participate in the Operating Room (OR).
• Utilize Siemens equipment in the ED and a mix of Samsung and Carestream portables.
