Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital – New Plaza West Tower in St. Louis. The role involves evenings and overnight shifts, in-house patients and OR, and independent radiographic imaging under the supervision of the department.

You will perform portable exams and support ER, with Siemens and Samsung/Carestream equipment used in the ED. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or higher and ARRT RT(R) certification, with eligibility or active registration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology.
• ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)).

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures with professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, including on-call and portable exams.
• Occasional involvement with the Operating Room (OR) and work in the ER as needed.
