This department has full-time, part-time, and on-call openings, offering flexibility to match your scheduling needs. An $8,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires who meet the qualifications and conditions for payment.

Job Responsibilities

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated imaging equipment. They consider individual patient needs, including age-related factors, and use clinical judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment to produce high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure, following ALARA principles.

Qualifications
  • Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, or
  • Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
