Job summary

Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, TX seeks a Radiology Technologist-Multi-modality PRN to perform diagnostic radiographs and complex radiographic procedures in an OR setting. The role requires ARRT certification and Texas licensure, with OR and pediatric radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Texas Department of Health (TMB) licensure required.
• OR experience is preferred.
• Pediatric radiology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographs according to standards, including contrast agents if needed.
• Conduct radiographic procedures in an OR setting as a diagnostic radiographer.
• Operate radiographic equipment following safety guidelines.
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written forms.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical professional conduct.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on-call duties as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent computer and communication skills.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographs in accordance with established standards and procedures, which may require the use of contrast agents.

• Perform the duties of a diagnostic radiographer and perform simple to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures in an OR setting.

• Operate radiographic equipment using radiation and electrical safety guidelines

• Communicate accurately using verbal and written methods

• Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality in all matters

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty

• Excellent computer and communication skills

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic(ARRT certified)

• Must be certified by the Texas department of Health (TMB)

• OR experience preferred

• Experience in Pediatric Radiology preferred
