Job summary

Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas is seeking a Radiology Technologist-Multi-modality PRN to perform diagnostic radiographs and specialized studies, including contrast procedures, in a fast-paced pediatric setting. You will operate radiographic equipment, adhere to safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with the care team.

The role requires ARRT certification and Texas TMB eligibility or equivalent experience, with pediatric radiology preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Texas Department of Health (TMB) certification or equivalent experience.
• Pediatric radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographs per standards, including contrast studies.
• Perform radiographic procedures in OR settings.
• Operate radiography equipment with safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Occasional overtime and on-call duties.
• Demonstrates excellent computer and communication skills.

Job Posting Title: Radiology Technologist-Multi-modality PRN

Location: Dallas - Hospital

Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm (hours can vary)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographs in accordance with established standards and procedures, which may require the use of contrast agents.
• Perform the duties of a diagnostic radiographer and perform simple to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures in an OR setting.
• Operate radiographic equipment using radiation and electrical safety guidelines
• Communicate accurately using verbal and written methods
• Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality in all matters
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty
• Excellent computer and communication skills

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic (ARRT certified)
• Must be certified by the Texas department of Health (TMB) OR experience preferred
• Experience in Pediatric Radiology preferred
