Job summary

Avera Milbank Area Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join a mission-driven team. Day shift with some call and weekend considerations; pay ranges from $26.75 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 with a 3-year commitment is available.

You will work with MRI, Mammography, and DEXA cross-training opportunities, and may participate in the Student Loan Repayment Program for eligible staff. Join a supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

Associate's or a certificate of completion from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days

Responsibilities

Performs radiology procedures accurately, efficiently and according to standards.
Initiates proper intervention to radiologist when an exam indicates immediate attention.
Reviews indications for exams and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
Provides exam data for presentation to radiologist for interpretation.
Utilizes PACS, RIS, HIS/EMR systems and performs general clerical duties.
Archives image data for storage and ensures CD delivery when needed.
Maintains confidentiality and upholds safety and infection control policies.
Mentors staff and students with on-the-job training and orientations.
