Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team. You will perform highly complex exams, coordinate specialized equipment, and apply radiation safety measures to ensure quality results in a timely manner.

The role requires ARRT certification, current CPR, and a minimum of 2 years radiography training in an accredited program, with working knowledge of radiology equipment and the ability to perform advanced exams.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required and Florida license as applicable.
• CPR certification must be current.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of radiology equipment and capability to perform highly specialized exams.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of exams.
• Coordinates factors to achieve quality exams within timelines.
• Utilize radiation safety devices and ensure safety practices.
• Attends departmental in-services and staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports malfunctions.
