**Job Summary:** The Rad Technologist PRN provides diagnostic imaging services by operating radiologic equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment operation, image processing, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires working independently, making decisions, and providing patient care including medication administration, vital signs, and monitoring medical devices.

**Qualifications:**

  • Associates Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with ARRT in Radiology (R)
  • Certified by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association or Red Cross

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Texas State MRT certification
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences
