Palomar Health is seeking a Radiology-Interventional Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy with emphasis on safety and image quality. The role supports cardiology, interventional radiology, and vascular surgery teams in non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular procedures.
The position requires CRT licensure within 6 months, ARRT(R) preferred, and ACLS/BLS certifications. You will work in a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional suites within Palomar Health.
Department: Radiology-Interventional Union: CHEU Shift: 12-hour Shift - Variable (United States of America) Hours Per Pay Period: 72 Job Description: Pay range: $59.53 - $85.21 Posting Date: 9/2/2026 Internal Closing Date: 9/9/26 Performs diagnostic medical radiographic procedures and studies with a thorough understanding of standard radiography and fluoroscopy. Responsible for maintenance of quality assurance for radiologic safety, equipment and the development of imaging acquired during cardiology procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology Suites. Cross trains with the ability and the knowledge to assist the cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons in the performance of all non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
