Job summary

Community Medical Centers is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist I to join the Radiology team at Community Regional. The role supports a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, operating fluoroscopic systems, ultrasound and IVUS, and assisting physicians with device management.

You will contribute to patient care by maintaining a safe procedural environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required.
  • State certification: CRT and Fluoroscopy Permit may be required in CA; ARRT certification expected.

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopic angiography, ultrasound and IVUS to support procedures.
  • Assist proceduralists with device management and case preparation, ensuring readiness of equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient procedural environment and support workflow across routine and high-acuity cases.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Located at Community Regional home to the region's only Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center our Radiology team plays a vital role in delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist I, you'll join a collaborative procedural team working alongside physicians to support a wide variety of cases ranging from routine diagnostic angiography to complex vascular and therapeutic interventions.

  • Operate medical imaging equipment including single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic systems, ultrasound and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) to support safe and accurate procedures.
  • Assist proceduralists with device management and case preparation, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for a broad scope of interventional procedures.
  • Contribute to patient care by maintaining a safe, efficient procedural environment and supporting workflow during both routine and high-acuity cases.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses and fellow technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to quality outcomes and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required

Licenses and Certifications

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required
  • CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • ARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists required
