Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging under supervision. You will position patients, adjust parameters, and assist physicians during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include documenting procedures, enforcing radiation safety, and supporting patient comfort and workflow. The role requires current enrollment in a radiology technologist program and CPR certification. On-site position in Monroeville, PA.

Qualifications

• Presently enrolled in a radiology technologist program in good standing.
• CPR certification per American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes all required documentation for procedures (regulatory, billing, image distribution).
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
• Assists the Radiology Technologist by attending to the patient's comforts/needs, expediting patient flow and documenting the patient's clinical information.
• Maintains adequate supplies for efficient section/department operations.
• May also assist in the preparation of contrast media and/or medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• Completes all required documentation for procedures, e.g. regulatory, billing protocol and image distribution. (20%)
