Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a full-time role. The position offers up to $37.00 per hour based on experience and requires current state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography plus ARRT registration.

Under supervision of the CNO, you will prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, explain the process, position patients, and operate imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Preferred: at least 3 years in medical imaging.
• Continuing education in all licensure areas must be up to date.
• Experience with facility-specific imaging equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the CNO, explain scans to patients and position them to capture appropriate images.
• Operate radiology equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs and tissue.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the CNO, theRadiology Technician is responsible for preparing the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process of the scans to the patient and properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images. The Technologist correctly operates equipment in order to produce cross-sectional images of patient's bones, organs and tissue.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 years experience in Medical Imaging field (not including school).
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
